reconsider contract with BSI garbage pickup
This last Monday we received no garbage pickup from BSI. We are at 233 Doc Evans rd. Over the weekend our road had been plowed but received approx 2 1/2 inches of new snow. Over the last 2 years we have had far worse conditions with no issues concerning pick-up. This is the only visual service provided by the Municipality as our road is not maintained given we are on a un-assumed section of Doc Evans rd. We had no problem personally entering or exiting our location. My issue is what is BSI's interpretation of an impassable road. One inch of snow, 2…? It should be noted that Hemlock Pt rd also did not receive pick-up. I have deep concerns about BSI and whether they will provide garbage pick-up this winter as this is the first bit of snow we have received this year. What's next?? I would like you to consider this a formal complaint.
Thank you,
Ken Baker
Thank you for your feedback. We are investigating your concern with BFI, however they did report icy road conditions on your road for the day in question. In the interim, below is a link to our website outlining the general rules for curbside collection including the maintenance required on private roads to ensure collection in not interrupted. Thank you again for your feedback.
